How the wildcard works

Use * to represent any unknown letter. For example:

  • ap*le → matches words that fit that pattern
  • *ate → finds words that end with “ate” (and fit the dictionary)

Advanced options

“Starts with”, “Ends with”, and “Must include” add extra constraints to narrow down results.
